Mataki O'Goshi Lim
Director
Mr Mataki O’Goshi Lim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Western Australia and is has over 28 years of experience in building technology, architecture, engineering, manufacturing, master planning and construction management, from affordable housing to high profile commercial developments across Australia, Asia and Europe.
Mataki is a Registered Builder and the Technical Director of building technology company, NXT TEC. Ltd, and has been a member of its executive team since its inception in 2015. Mataki’s experience as an inventor, architect and builder led to developing the globally recognised and patented NXT™ Building System technologies. The novel nature of his work has been recognised by the Australian Government’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme and awarded an Accelerating Commercialisation Grant, the first building technology solution in Australia to receive this recognition.
When Mataki’s daughter Madalyn was diagnosed with a heart tumour for the second time in 2014, Mataki designed and developed a Batmobile 'Tumbler' in honour of her and to bring joy and raise funds for sick children who are in need of funding for treatment. When Madalyn was again diagnosed in 2018 with a heart tumour, Mataki founded Madalyn Children’s Foundation through which he hopes to help save the lives of other sick children who require serious medical treatment by providing financial support.
Natasha Di Ciano
Director
Ms Natasha Di Ciano holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Business Law) from Curtin University, is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), and also a Business News 40under40 award recipient.
Natasha is passionate about sustainable business, continuous improvement, corporate governance and connecting people to effect change. Natasha has over 25 years of corporate experience in listed, public and private organisations across the technology, property, marketing and public relations, professional services, education and not-for-profit sectors. During her career, Natasha has founded and commercialised several innovative companies, and has been the Executive Chairman and Managing Director of building technology company NXT TEC. Ltd since its formation in 2015.
Most noted for her advocacy for human rights and the underprivileged, Natasha founded and has been a director of Australian charities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission for over 11 years. She is the founder and Chair of Dine for Life, a not-for-profit that has raised significant funds to help women and children affected by human trafficking and exploitation globally. She has also established and is a director of two Australian charities with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status, Madalyn Children’s Foundation and Keera Pittorino Necessitous Circumstances Fund, both of which have provided financial support to children and young people requiring life-saving medical treatment. These are a true testament to what can be accomplished when compassionate minds merge and take action.
Daniela Di Ciano
Director
Ms Daniela Di Ciano holds a Bachelor of Psychology, a Masters of Applied Psychology and is a Registered Psychologist trained in both clinical and educational fields.
Daniela is a mother of two who has practised in Australia and internationally over the last 20 years. Having trained in both clinical and educational fields, specialising in child and adolescent mental health, learning and development, she is very passionate about improving the lives of children.
Daniela currently practises from her developmental clinic in Perth and takes a holistic approach whilst working collaboratively with families, teachers, carers and other professionals in her network.
Daniela specialises in assessment and intervention of children and adults with complex neuro-developmental needs (such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning Disorders) and associated emotion-regulation and challenging behaviours. Daniela uses Applied Behaviour Analysis (including Positive Behaviour Support), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Mentalisation-based approaches and Family Therapy.
As a mother, Daniela understands the value of health is paramount with the definition of health being individual to every person. Successful outcomes are built on respecting expectations, understanding the condition and developmental level, preferences, acknowledging financial commitments, limitations, and support networks.
